A manifesto is a work order

Five pledges. Each names a real problem, a specific fix, and the standard Jeremy can be held to.

Draft The candidate has not confirmed these final numbers yet. The signed manifesto publishes before the vote.

All pledges

  1. 01

    Water on tap

    What's broken
Residence water and power cuts stretch into days with no clear line of who is fixing what.
    The repair
A standing Guild Facilities Desk that logs every outage report, routes it to estates, and publishes the ticket status weekly.
    How you check on me
Reported cuts acknowledged within 48 hours, status board updated every Monday.
  2. 02

    Wi-Fi that works

    What's broken
Network drops hit assignments hardest, and students learn about maintenance late or never.
    The repair
A published weekly status board for campus network and maintenance, fed by a student-side reporting channel that the guild monitors.
    How you check on me
Zero surprise outages. Every planned maintenance window announced 72 hours ahead.
  3. 03

    One form, one desk

    What's broken
Student requests get lost walking between offices that each point somewhere else.
    The repair
A single-window guild service point, online and on campus, with published response times for each request type.
    How you check on me
Every request gets a reference number and a written answer within the published time.
  4. 04

    A budget you can read

    What's broken
Guild money moves, and students never see where it lands.
    The repair
Monthly guild accounts published in plain language: income, spend, and pending commitments on one page.
    How you check on me
Twelve plain-language statements in twelve months, no exceptions.
  5. 05

    Skills, not speeches

    What's broken
Students want practical edges for life after campus, and events often stop at motivation.
    The repair
Grow peer-led skill hubs already proven on campus, starting with Code Buddy style sessions: coding, AI tools, writing, leadership, every term.
    How you check on me
At least eight workshops per semester with open sign-up and attendance records.
